”Magnetic Radio File04 - Tokyo Area -

Koma Elektronik Field Kit
Koma Elektronik Field Kit

New Sound - Same area and different time - File01

Nakayubi - “Same area and different time - File01

1.Bangkok @ Wat Ratchanatdaram 2019/07/06 16:05 + JSON Weather 2019/07/29 16:47 Bangkok

2.Berlin @ Prenzlauer Berg Area 2018/11/26 12:00 + JSON Weather 2019/07/30 18:40 Berlin

Same area and different time”と言うタイトルの音源となります。

Connection Kit”

<JSON Weather Tutorial>

JSON Weather”

Today, Nakayubi's new sound source release.
This sound source is not "Magnetic Raido",
It becomes the sound source of the title "Same area and different time".

Until now, I went to travel to various places and did field recording wherever I went,
Since the recording material has also accumulated, I thought that I wanted to put together here as a sound source.

While thinking about such things, I was working on an idea of sound source production,
The other day, when I was working on my MacBook Pro files,
I found a file named "JSON Weather" in MaxForLive's file.

JSON Weather is a free set of Max For Live, released by Ableton.
One of several files included in the "Connection Kit",
From the weather information site "Dark Sky API", as the name Weather says.
Get weather data from all over the world using API.
It is an interesting software that converts the acquired data into a sine wave or noise sound and outputs the sound.

For example, if I want to output sound in Tokyo's weather data,
When I input the latitude and longitude of Tokyo to the patch of JSON Weather,
Sound is output based on the input data.
Moreover, the sound changes as time passes and the data is read again.

See the URL below for details.

<JSON Weather Tutorial>

Honestly, I have no knowledge of the program,
I thought that JSON Weather was an honest and interesting software.

So I came up with the idea that if you mix the "field recording sound source" and the "JSON sound,"
I thought that I might be able to do interesting things, so I made this sound source.

For example, the first track of this sound source is a field recording sound source performed at Wat Ratchanatdaram in Bangkok at 16: 5 on July 6, 2019 and "JSON Weather" at 16:47 on July 29, 2019. I used it, mixed the sounds created from the weather data in Bangkok, recorded and edited it, and finished it as a music.

It has become a long sentence, but since the sound source is uploaded to SoundCloud and BandCamp,
Please listen by all means.
(Free download available at BandCamp)
