本日、Nakayubiの新しい音源リリースしました。
今回の音源は”Magnetic Raido”ではなく、
”Same area and different time”と言うタイトルの音源となります。
今まで、いろんな場所へ旅行へ行き、行く先々でフィールドレコーディングを行っていたのですが、
録音素材も溜まってきたので、ここらへんで音源としてまとめたいと考えてました。
そのような事を考えながら、音源制作のアイディアを練っていたのですが、
先日、自分のMacBook Proのファイル整理作業をやっていた時、
MaxForLiveのファイルで”JSON Weather”というファイルを見つけました。
”JSON Weather”はAbletonからリリースされている、Max For Liveの無償セット、
”Connection Kit”の中に収録されている、複数のファイルの中の一つで、
Weatherと言う名前からもわかる通り、お天気情報サイト”Dark Sky API”から、
APIを利用して世界各地の天気データを取得。
取得したデータの数値をサイン波やノイズ音に変換して音を出力するという面白いソフトです。
例えば、東京の天気データで音を出力したい場合、
東京の緯度と経度をJSON WeatherのPatchに入力すると、
入力されたデータを元に音が出力される仕組みとなっています。
しかも、時間が経過して再度、データを読み込むと音も変化していきます

正直、自分はプログラムについての知識はありませんが、
”JSON Weather”については素直に面白いソフトだと思いました。
そこで考えついたのが、”フィールドレコーディングの音源”と”JSONの音をミックスさせれば、
面白い事ができるかもしれないと思い、今回の音源を制作しました。
例えば、今回の音源の１曲目は2019年7月6日の16時5分にバンコクのWat Ratchanatdaramで行われたフィールドレコーディング音源と2019年7月29日の16時47分に”JSON Weather”を使って、バンコクの天気データから作り出された音をミックスさせて録音と編集を行い、楽曲として完成させました。

For example, if I want to output sound in Tokyo's weather data,
When I input the latitude and longitude of Tokyo to the patch of JSON Weather,
Sound is output based on the input data.
Moreover, the sound changes as time passes and the data is read again.

Honestly, I have no knowledge of the program,
I thought that “JSON Weather” was an honest and interesting software.
So I came up with the idea that if you mix the "field recording sound source" and the "JSON sound,"
I thought that I might be able to do interesting things, so I made this sound source.
For example, the first track of this sound source is a field recording sound source performed at Wat Ratchanatdaram in Bangkok at 16: 5 on July 6, 2019 and "JSON Weather" at 16:47 on July 29, 2019. I used it, mixed the sounds created from the weather data in Bangkok, recorded and edited it, and finished it as a music.
It has become a long sentence, but since the sound source is uploaded to SoundCloud and BandCamp,
